Phew.... what a couple of crazy puked filled weeks! The entire family caught the bug and spent a couple of days in bed, on couch and even one on the floor. (He's a teenager, I just don't ask anymore.)
I have been super busy getting purse orders filled and keeping my house spotless. (That last statement is partially true, I'll let you decide on which.) Debi, my sister, came over Sunday and kept me company and supervised my cutting and sewing of my father in laws quilt for Christmas. I'll be working on it again later this evening and will post pictures very soon. I'm using the "Yellow Brick Road" pattern and making it in blues and browns..... very manly!
In the meantime.... I'll leave you with a few pictures of our week.... none of puke. You're welcome!
Darren's 39th birthday. His idea for the tiarra & Cinderella glasses. He's 6'3" of pure muscle and testosterone.... he can wear them if'n he wants. Who's gonna argue?
Kavin and Amelia Claire setting up the Nativity. (I'm pretending that the dust is part of the scene. It's how I cope.)
I made this new purse..... I'm in love with the color combination and am thinking of throwing my stuff in there and keeping it. Or making a new one... lol!
I hope to finish more orders tomorrow so that I can have the rest of the week open to finish the Christmas gifts I've started or planned. Sigh.....
I'm going to have a give away starting the day of Christmas up until New Years.... this will be my little blogs three year anniversary already. It's been fun.... albeit with a fluctuation of postings by yours truly since having Avonlea. She's one of those kinds of kids. You know, if it's quiet... you better go looking.
See you tomorrow!
